The conference will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 as a hybrid program: in person on the UCSF Mission Bay Campus, and also webcast live. This conference, as always, is open to the public.

The California Prostate Cancer Coalition (CPCC) and the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center of UCSF proudly present “The 4th Annual Patient Conference on Prostate Cancer,” was held in person and virtually on Saturday, March 9, 2024

Topics included an Overview; Genetics and Genomics; ADT; Localized, Recurrent, and Advanced Prostate Cancer; Active Surveillance; AR Targeted Treatment; Chemotherapy and Radioligand Therapy for Metastatic CRPC; Immunotherapy; Bone Health; Surgery; Radiation; Focal Therapy; Imaging; Diet and Exercise; Symptom Management; and New Treatments on the Horizon. This Conference will help patients become better informed about their care and learn how to engage in effective, shared decision-making. with John P. Mulhall, MD, MSc, FECSM, FACS, FRCSI

This Webinar will help Patients engage in better-shared decision-making with their Physicians.
Dr. Mulhall, a native of Dublin, Ireland, is a Board-Certified urologist and a microsurgeon and is the Director of the Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College. His clinical research interests include predictors of post-prostatectomy erectile function recovery, pelvic radiation-associated ED, the development of novel instruments for evaluating sexual function, and the design and conduct of drug trials in sexual medicine.
The Webinar will consist of approximately 45 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. Registration is free.

National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalitions
Report from the 16th Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner

“Participate and Educate”
The 16th Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner of the National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalitions, also known as The Prostate Cancer Alliance, was held again at the esteemed Hotel Monaco in Washington, D.C. on the site of the original General Post Office Building (circa 1840), from Friday, January 28, 2022 through 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022.
Despite numerous delays caused by the pandemic, this Annual Meeting began our 18th year of helping prostate cancer patients and their families. State prostate cancer organizations – coalitions, foundations, associations and other entities - from across the entire United States sent at least one, sometimes two or three representatives to the 16th Annual Meeting.
The expectation - as always - was that at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting, all attendees would return to their respective constituencies and then disseminate throughout their states, all of the educational, scientific and practical information they’d received - thereby helping patients everywhere.
Annual Meeting Sponsors sent representatives to the 16th Annual Meeting & Gala to learn, to network and to work with state prostate cancer organizations, as well as to distribute their materials. There were a record 20 sponsors for this year’s event, and NASPCC is very grateful for their support which helped us to organize and hold this stellar Annual Meeting.

Save the date for NASPCC’s 17th Annual Meeting. The meeting will take place in October, 2022 in Washington, DC.
