Dr. Jesse McKenney is a Pathologist at the Cleveland Clinic and is a member of their genitourinary section. His work focuses primarily on clinical outcome-based tumor classification, especially in risk stratification for prostate cancer. He has a novel take on what constitutes high-risk prostate cancer.

NASPCC held its 18th Annual Meeting on October 6-8, 2023 in Washington, DC at the Fairmont Hotel.

Outstanding Faculty from Sloan Kettering, Duke, Harvard, Hopkins, Cornell, City of Hope, Case Western Reserve, NIH, and UCLA presented on many current topics in prostate cancer. It is always a weekend of sharing of best practices, networking, and learning through presentations and panels.

Attendees were tasked with bringing back all of the information and resources to their respective states and organizations.

“Educate, Participate and Celebrate”

November 4-6, 2022
Fairmont Hotel, Washington, DC

The 17th Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner of the National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalitions, also known as The Prostate Cancer Alliance, was held at Fairmont Hotel in Washington, D.C. from Friday, November 4, 2022 through 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

Despite numerous delays caused by the pandemic, this Annual Meeting began our 18th year of helping prostate cancer patients and their families. State prostate cancer organizations – coalitions, foundations, associations and other entities - from across the entire United States sent at least one, sometimes two or three representatives to the 17th Annual Meeting.

The expectation - as always - was that at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting, all attendees would return to their respective constituencies and then disseminate throughout their states, all of the educational, scientific and practical information they’d received - thereby helping patients everywhere.

Annual Meeting Sponsors sent representatives to the 17th Annual Meeting learn, to network and to work with state prostate cancer organizations, as well as to distribute their materials. There were a record 20 sponsors for this year’s event, and NASPCC is very grateful for their support which helped us to organize and hold this stellar Annual Meeting.
