About Us

Formed in Los Angeles in October 2004 by representatives from 25 states and others interested in creating and participating in a national prostate cancer alliance, the National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalitions (NASPCC) is an umbrella not-for-profit entity comprised of state prostate cancer coalitions, associations, task forces, and foundations

NASPCC helps create and mentor state prostate cancer organizations, while concentrating on its goals of education and awareness and the early detection of potentially lethal prostate cancer. We hold Annual Meetings, publish PROSTATEPEDIA Magazine and the weekly PROSTATEPEDIA DIGEST; create durable laminated resources (“Laminates”); and hold national Webinars, among other programs

All the participating state organizations derive benefit by networking, coming together at least once a year, and serving as critical mass to make prostate cancer a national health care priority.

Strategic Alliances

“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light. . .Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller

A strategic alliance is an agreement between two or more parties to pursue a set of agreed upon objectives while remaining independent organizations. Strategic alliances occur when two or more organizations join together to pursue mutual benefits.
